Stendly vs MoonPay Commerce

Compare Stendly's focused stablecoin billing with MoonPay Commerce pay links, widgets and wider asset coverage.

MoonPay Commerce, previously known through the Helio product and documentation, offers Pay Links, an embeddable checkout widget, subscriptions and support for a broad range of digital currencies. Stendly focuses on hosted stablecoin checkout and billing for digital products.

MoonPay Commerce is the broader commerce platform. Stendly is the narrower billing layer.

The products overlap, but a merchant should not assume identical custody, conversion, regional availability or recurring-payment behavior.

Where MoonPay Commerce has an advantage

The checkout widget and broad asset coverage suit merchants that want customers to choose among many crypto assets or enter through card on-ramp flows. It also offers a larger set of commerce features around pay links and subscriptions.

That breadth can reduce buyer friction when the audience is fragmented across wallets and tokens.

Where Stendly has an advantage

Stendly's model is easier to evaluate when the requirement is specific: accept supported stablecoins for a digital product, connect the payment to a customer or order and receive a signed webhook.

The Billing API keeps products, prices, invoices, subscriptions, usage and webhook deliveries in one project-scoped model. Merchants that prefer direct wallet-oriented settlement may also value Stendly's non-custodial positioning.

The narrower product is a disadvantage when customers need unsupported assets, card on-ramps or an embedded multi-currency widget.

A useful test

Build one fixed $10 product in both systems. Check the buyer flow on desktop and mobile, the wallets your customers use, the exact amount received, webhook payloads, subscription renewal behavior and refund operations.

A comparison page cannot replace that test because provider coverage and pricing change.
